Looking on social media, you will see many hashtags for women supporting women, female empowerment, girl power, women empowering women and more. While I feel all these hashtags and posts are important, what I find the most empowering is when we as women take action to actively support one another.

As we celebrate Women’s History Month, we look back at all the fantastic achievements made by women who paved the road for women today. We as women have taken on leadership roles, combated biases, achieved success in all areas of life whether in sports, in corporate roles, the arts, education, family, politics and more.

In life it is important to look at how much we have accomplished.  For a majority of us, our brains are programmed to focus on the negatives and our lack.  One of the most important lessons I have learned through the study and practice of Emotional Intelligence is the ability to retrain my mind to one of abundancy as opposed to scarcity.
